We are committed to providing a safe environment that promotes learning for all students. Behaviors are assessed using a tiered system with Tier I misbehaviors identified as those behaviors that are handled within the learning pod and Tier III misbehaviors identified as those that violate the safety of the student, peers, or adults that are present.
Tier 1: Misbehavior that could be caused my mistake, misunderstanding, tech issues, or not paying attention.
Tier 2: More consequential than Tier 1 behaviors. These behaviors merit consequences sooner because continuation or spread of these behaviors would disrupt the entire learning environment causing loss of focus, time, or – at times – compromise safety of classroom.
Parents will be notified of all Tier 2 behaviors.
Tier 3: Behaviors that require an immediate referral to Leadership Team. Tier 3 behaviors disrupt the safety and learning of every member of the Learning Site pod.
Tier 3 behaviors will result in an automatic removal from the in-person site roster.
